The fan is equipped with a 6.8-liter, 6-cylinder, 129 kW John Deere turbo diesel engine. It produces up to 125,000 m³ of air, with airflow adjustable by engine speed.
When customers were dissatisfied with their previous solutions, many were considering abandoning their diesel-powered drying systems. However, Loekkes turned the situation around by offering a custom solution based primarily on the John Deere 6068 engine system from West Diesel. This tailored approach improved efficiency and reliability, ensuring that customers could maintain optimal grain ventilation and drying performance.
Loekkes’ grain ventilation fan is equipped with a 6.8-liter, 6-cylinder, 129 kW John Deere turbo diesel engine, consuming around 22 liters of diesel per hour at maximum airflow. It delivers up to 125,000 m³ of air, with airflow adjustable by engine speed. The system features automatic startup when room humidity is too high, as well as a phased startup based on West Diesel’s customized electrical solution.
